Mpire in NYTimes
Besides being featured in today’s E-Commerce Report by Bob Tedeschi Mpire announced (Matt’s blog post) that the site now covers Amazon.com, has improved search relevancy, and added a slew of community features. From the press release…
The new community-powered shopping capabilities being unveiled by Mpire today include:
* The ability for consumers to easily vote, review and provide feedback on products for sale.
* The ability for consumers to share their favorite products or shopping lists. For instance, with one click, consumers can publish to sites such as Digg or Del.icio.us.
* The ability for consumers to have a dialog and discussion. Users can now talk with one another about what they like, don’t like or share related topics to the products of their choice.
I’ll take a look at the features in the next couple days and write up my thoughts…initial reaction is that the site is a hell of a lot more user friendly than before. Really like the new homepage.
