Shmuly Tennenhaus of Revenews reports, “Google has expanded their shopping portal. Whereas last week there were only links to select stores using google checkout, now google is showcasing many more places to shop. Plus, Google has them neatly categorized.”

Google Checkout now lists about 180 stores and highlights coupons from selected stores. Poor affiliates.

No sign of the Checkout icon on Google Base / Froogle listings, but all these shopping pieces have to come together at some point.
